I don't know does their son have a wife and kids? They are getting older they want to see their grandkids. Stuff like this gets lost in all of the bullshite.
I'm glad he fricked that deal up. Texas deserved it

What?
Their son and his wife live in Tuscaloosa.
She is having a baby girl due in 2 weeks and she is a director for the Tuscaloosa Habitat for Humanity.

seriously, if Mack and Saban are actually friends, they just fricked Tejas raw.
Saban played them for another raise, and Mack waited till he signed to stick it up Tejas arse.
Now they have to start over on coaching front.

ROTFLMAO at morons who think that someone like Nick Saban would ever let someone like Mack Brown keep him from doing what he wants to do. You guys are supposed to know him well, right? Isn't this the same Nick Saban that's supposedly heartless, without a soul, a liar, and always out for himself first and foremost? If Nick Saban EVER wanted to go to Texas, do you seriously think he would let anything stop him from going right now?
I've got vegetables in my garden with more IQ points than some posters here.

So someone should put others before their job security? frick that.
ETA: Plus Saban is getting paid $7 million a year now. Flying to Austin or having them fly to Tuscaloosa isn't an issue. Hell, Saban could get his son a better paying job and nicer house in Tuscaloosa if he misses him so much.

quote:Look I don't know but it has been all over these threads that they have a son who is a musician that lives in Austin. Thats why I asked. My point was that there could have been other reasons why they wanted to go to Austin. The Sabans have given everything to bama the last seven years. How much more do they owe you selish motherfrickers? Whatever makes them happy at this point.
Their son and his wife live in Tuscaloosa.

Don't know if he did.
But Mack Brown is one of the most thin-skinned and insecure coaches I've ever seen at the major college level. He's been that way his entire career.

Yes.
Us selfish Bama fans have Nick's dog held hostage to make him stay.
You seemed unhinged over this.
People were looking for reason that Saban would go to Texas and somehow his son being a musician in Austin wound up as a fact when it is not.
So your the entire premise of your screed is 100% wrong.
I'm sure you can do better and find something legitimate to have an angry meltdown over. Try harder.

You're allowed to get butthurt about us complaining about it.
Chicken is above it all. I think he can handle. He's not that petty.

Never really thought of it this way, but this is a really good point. We're supposed to believe that CNS is an a-hole tyrant who doesn't give a frick about other people (lies, steps over dying players, etc). Just a heartless mercenary. We're also supposed to believe that he wanted the UT job but was forced to pass on it either because he thought it would make him look bad (lol) or out of respect for his good friend Mack (lolol).
Something's not adding up.
