If LSU continues to play win well on defense and finishes strong I am cool with Jones staying on, if not as DC in some real capacity, lots of names likely going to be available.

Manny Diaz
Boom
etc

Nobody has ever been loved more for doing less than Daronte. No fricking way an offensive coach keeps him on. He'll be safeties coach at South Alabama next year.

There's a better chance Wisconsin tells Paul Chryst to leave so he can become HC than Leonhard going somewhere else to be a DC.

You just run the risk of him taking a HC job in 3-4 years. But definitely a good name to start the Riley coaching tree.

Sounds like Lincoln Riley. Gifted a winning program from Bob Stoops that hasn't gone any further under his watch. Cried about a FG after his guys had scored 2 minutes earlier. Aranda owns him 3 straight games and with a much less talented roster the last 2 games. Talk about overrated.

Actually it doesn't sound anything alike. Probably got a standing O in the trailer park though.

Jim Leonhard does this... a lot. shite, he told Green Bay 'no' several months back. Told 'no' to Alabama, Florida State and A&M. Many on this board said he turned down LSU through back channels last off-season, too.

Jim and his family love Madison. Have said repeatedly there isn't much in the plans to leave. Crazier things have happened, but I'm not sure why he would leave Wisconsin for another college DC position.

Leonhard is the best but he’s turned down DC offers from Bama, Packers, A&M, Florida, and LSU at different times already he isn’t leaving his alma mater where he’s the HC in waiting for another DC gig.
