Should be Petrino...it's just perfect. But prob won't happen. I say Chad Morris.

Meh. Duke looked pretty good and has some talent on the roster right now. He's coming off a 10 win season. This isn't FSU and UofL is without Bridgewater. Doesn't make much sense to move to a team in the conference who we're not even sure can consistently win in a football conference.

I know it seems lateral, but James Franklin. Easier to win his conference and possibly work his way into a playoff eventually. That's not going to happen at Vandy.

Louisville and Chad Morris would be dynamite together in the ACC IMO

The first choice should be Bobby Petrino. That is who most want. Our AD Tom Jurich and him still talk. He helped with Petrino getting the WKU job. Petrino's daughter is also on the UofL golf team. If not Bobby, I would go with Morris.

Hopefully Jurich doesn't "Krag" this hire. It will be important especially with the move to the ACC in getting the right coach.

Do you really want Petrino? The guy tried to bail every year he was there.

Yes. He should be the only choice.

Idk, he's burned his brigde and I haven't seen a Louisville friend on facebook calling his name yet but that's just me.

I saw this on my FB last night, but I wonder if they'd look at P. Narduzzi. I don't think so, but I think PN would give a UL job some looks. He's certainly done a really nice job with the D at MSU.

I personally hope he doesn't go

I'd love that. He better hire some coaches with connections to Fla though to keep that pipeline going.

UL is not a great job. I mean hoops is number 1 and they are moving to the ACC which is tough. You also have to recruit against the SEC and Big Ten in Louisville for good players in the Ohio Valley. Face it, UL is not a Southern job.

It's the ultimate stepping stone unless they can get someone like Petrino.

This would be a great move by Louisville. It would strengthen Louisville and, at the same time, weaken their future division foe. Dabo will be the next Chizick once Morris leaves.
