If I were Texas Tech I’d offer him $2M/year for 4 years, no buyout. You know he can build an offense and you know he has a bigger chip on his shoulder now than he ever has. You’re Texas Tech, what do you have to lose?

Wrong question. It's what do you have to gain?

Nowhere. He can’t find GOOD coaches who want to work with him at this point. He’s done in big time college football

He’s a proven winner, one of the greatest offensive coaches over the last decade, had a Heisman winner just a couple years ago. Les Miles and Mack Brown are getting P5 jobs. Don’t tell me there ain’t no room for BMFP.

A directional school to live out his final coaching days.

Why? It's not like Louisville did him wrong, he ran the program into the ground.

He averaged 8.5 wins at Louisville over the 4 seasons prior to this disaster of a year. Just 2 years ago he went 7-1 in conference.

Yeah, Lamar Jackson must've been super awesome. This year Bobby went 2-8, lost every game by like 50, and they committed 18 penalties a game(rough estimates from what I saw on tv).

I personally think he is done coaching. He's looked like he aged 10 years this season alone

He needs to go to a progressive school that runs a different model. Let him coach, and have a GM type that recruits and runs the daily operations. He has never been able to bring in elite talent.

that would be pretty hilarious considering the opposite is how many places are trending (like LSU)

Plus at this point in his career, he can't get any type of quality assistants to help him out so he resorts to hiring family. It really is mind boggling how bad he was this season and his assessment of talent

So if he’s too toxic to be a HC, what about OC? Tennessee has an opening...
