Answer to what? Internet speculation?
I get your point but the speculation is not just limited to the internet or this message board and this will be the third time going through this song and dance. If he truly wasn't trying to stall and get a raise (which I don't think is going to happen again) or truly wasn't interested he could do what Chip Kelley did.
Come out and say he loves Michigan but he's not interested and LSU is his home until he retires.

Well Johnny Jones got a raise for doing nothing at all so what would stop them from giving Les a raise.

if miles is leaving he should TOTALLY announce that he's taking the job on the day of alabama's SEC championship game just to steal the spotlight from saban.

if I remember right, saban announced he was coming to bama on the day of the LSU sugar bowl against notre dame.
ETA: i'm sure of it. everyone was pissed that he did it on LSU's bowl game day taking the spotlight away from Les

I thought we already determined that you are the equivalent to being my bitch secretary of my fanclub and that your search function should be disabled....at least from 8am to 5pm.
I say "Bitch Secretary" because 75% of this board agrees that you are the biggest bitch, here.

Considering he's never been offered the job, probably when he actually (if ever) gets asked the question.

Miles wants Alleva to sing his praises again
He probably hasn't had his end of the year sit down meeting with Joe yet.
But if he has no interest and wants to stay at LSU then why not end this charade now! I mean LSU has done everything for him and for the third time we have to sit through this BS!

Michigan's inadequacies aren't really his problem. Even if he comes out and reaffirms his love for the school people will brush it off as coach speak, etc.

Les could easily come out and squash this if he wanted to but there's a reason hes not. Either he wants the michigan job or he wants more $$$. Les can thank michigan for what seems like every three years he gets a pay raise. So technically he's already been rewarded by michigan and Ark.

I think coach Miles is going to come this time. I mean everyone knows that even if they hire a turd again it will be 4-5 years before the job opens again and Miles will be past the point of moving at that point. I honestly believe their current temp AD was brought in specifically to get one of two people harbaugh or Miles and in all honesty Harbaugh is a pipe dream Leslie was always the more likely candidate.

It funny to hear you say 'melt.' I'd ask you to prove it, but you can't string together two sentences that make sense.
If you were to gain any credibility here, there are some steps you'd need to take, son.
In the meantime, you'd make a good creepy online predator......So weird.

he's turned you down twice...even after you offered more money.
