Well Give Corey Co-DC with CB's hire an experienced guy like Muschamp and he can have Safeties and be CO-DC (take it or live it) and hire a LB coach and Ed can coach DL, etc. Just throwing something out there.

Or LSU can go cheap and ride out O’s contract. It will probably coincide with Saban’s retirement. That’s what I thought the administration was doing when it hired O.

Well cutting your teeth at LSU is a big risk, I am all for Corey getting a shot, but CO-DC's work if you have the right people and clear who does what.
UGA has C0-DC's Lanning is CO-DC and outside LB and Schumann is CO-DC and Inside LB. UGA's defense has worked well with this set up.

LSU fans are not knowledgeable about college football. They just know it didn’t work here in 2008, so that means it can never work.
Despite major colleges all over the country doing it successfully all the time.
Same with passing game coordinator, safeties coach, etc.
