Charade meaning JF has been done yet this Herman trickeration for no good reason. Is someone trying to get Herm a better gig.

"Insiders" claim there's a smoke-screen. A lot of the board seems to be believing that.
Me? I think the news broke Wednesday / Thursday that Herman was being courted. He'll get hired tomorrow and this shitshow will be over.

No, but Jimbo can't sign an agreement with LSU while coaching at FSU and he isn't going to leave mid-season. Last year ESPN roasted LSU for weeks based on rumors and played a huge part in killing a deal with Jimbo. it looks like with at least 2 months to work on this that LSU may have avoided the media (i.e. ESPN) from narrating our search. If so, kuddos to Alleva.

Is there really a charade? Seems like LSU conducted an odd, narrow search that focused only on three candidates. Fisher negotiations broke down, which left O and Herman. They are trying to woo Herman, but if they fail, we're left with the O-pocalypse. Pretty straightforward. A brilliant counterintelligence strategy would be more hopeful.

Talks between LSU and coaching candidates have picked up recently as the CFB regular season comes to a close. Herman wants to meet with LSU and Texas tomorrow before making a decision. That's pretty much where we stand.

Yep. There's no conspiracy here. No smokescreens. People act like this is a murder cover-up. It's a fricking coaching search.
