No, it's the fact that a guy like that played such an integral part in a coaching hire of the school I attended, donate to regularly and currently hold 8 seasons tickets. It's one of the most "Louisiana" things I've ever seen done in my lifetime.
This. Nepotism surrounding O's hires will quickly bring him down and I will laugh my arse off. This is typical Louisiana politics and the typical Louisiana people aren't smart enough to even notice or care.

And this shite got the anchor?

I think it was more about the contents of the binder rather than the actual construction of it.
It's like a book, once you actually open it up there's all kinds of words and shite in it that some people can understand.

It's the fact that in 2016 a coach even walked in with that shite in the first place and even worse that all the blue haired old dudes in the room just ate it up.

Wait, are you disappointed that a prospective coach walked in to an interview with a written plan of how he'll approach the job, or do you think it should have a been a powerpoint presentation or something?

I'm disappointed that he used a freaking kinko's binder. The whole thing just screams low rent.

Well, in the immortal words of Ellis McDaniel...
You can't judge a fish by lookin' in the pond
You can't judge right by looking at the wrong
You can't judge one by looking at the other
You can't judge a book by looking at the cover

Yeah, except those books are usually behind the counter and wrapped in brown paper.

His fricking name is on the cover. He's accredited with it.
It's already been said that each person was given a book with their name on it, arse clown.
Yes he put it together, but I doubt he did much of the information gathering. Ed probably needed help putting it together.
Also, I think It's pretty pathetic the way some morons here attack Ponamsky personally and professionally for getting his dream job - instead of placing the blame on the person who hired them. Derek has put more time and effort into the LSU program than any of the so-called "fans" bitching about him have.
I don't know Ponamsky and I've never met him, but he has done nothing to warrant the personal attacks and insults being thrown at him by the majority of this board.

Each person in the meeting had a personalized copy with their name on it. Damn, I wish people on here kept up with the stories.
