He says it was a done deal on Thursday but LSU announced a search committee on Friday which is still short a member.

But, I do like a good riddle so I was being realistic and trying to narrow it down.

If it was Saban, they absolutely could come to terms pretty darn fast I’d imagine. I don’t doubt he was the first call, and if the answer is yes the search is done In 2 days.

No reason to name a committee if it's a done deal. And that poster also said it would be announced after the season in respect to the school and fans of his current team.

The name isn't out of left field, but it would be pretty shocking if he accepted it. I'd consider him an out of left field candidate just because of how surreal it would be
