It’s been 6 years since Sark was a head coach. He was fired with a 3-2 record. I know he’s great offensive coach, but he failed at USC due to his drinking. This looks like a pretty risky hire.

Didn't Alabama just sign the No. 1 QB in the country last year! If he's responsible for recruiting QBs only, I would say he's pretty good at his job!

BREAKING NEWS: If you can't recruit, you're not on the Alabama staff very long. Saban's No. 1 requirement is you have to be a damn good recruiter or he doesn't need you! It's also worth noting that not only did Sark play a big role in landing the No. 1 QB in the country for Alabama last year, he's also very good at developing QBs.
