5* RB Keith Marshall told Scout.com that he was only considering USCjr because of Jay and his coaching style....so.....hmmmm

Great hire and big loss for us. Was the only reason Marshall was looking at us. Knew it was only a matter of time before he went home.
He has a great eye for talent. Brandon Wilds was a low 3 star with many people wondering why we took him last year. Jay say him play and offerd him. Wilds had a great year stepping in when Lattimore went down.

He got a multi-year deal so I'm pretty sure he will be. It's not like there's many people better

I've stepped off the cliff lately. Despite Dooley's horrendous game management, I'm hoping he and the team turn it around next year. Consistency in the same system really is important, and we should see some results next year.
If Dooley does have to go, I could see Graham easily being a holdover.

No thank yall, Cooper's name is mud in Columbia. Did'nt leave on the best terms with our staff. Him along with a couple of his db's and Jared Cook, I'll just say we were better off once they left Carolina.
But no doubt Cooper is and was a great DB coach, developed Captain Munnerlyn into an NFL starter.

Probably something to do with scheme and the lack of energy our team seems to have. Not to mention being disorganized as hell.

Play calling and being disorganized on the sideline are the coach's fault in my eyes.

Mostly the small things, that I assume translate to bigger issues. They are kind of hard to remember except for the general impression of "what are you doing?" Using a timeout on third and long, apparently to draw up a dive play. Kicking the ball on third and short, when your kicker hasn't sniffed the goal posts all game. In generaly his usage of timeouts. The 13 man defense. The trick play in the red zone of Kentucky (that's his fault as much as Chaney's, he knows that playcall is there). The constant 2nd half beat downs. Our depth is at play in this, but at some point you have to draw the line.
Here's my total opinion. We have youth and talent issues, no doubt. There's a chance Dooley is capable of winning games here (afterall, he can recruit and the assistants aren't bad). So with all those issues it's hard to judge how much is talent and how much is Dooley. But based off what I saw, I have little reason to be confident Dooley is a capable of a 10 win season in the SEC.
If he can close out another recruiting class in the top 15 despite all the turmoil (the class is looking good right now), that will give us three full classes. That should get us back to competitive. I will like him for that. But eventually you have to win. I give him 4 years.
