I mean, come on if LSU does what everyone seems to think they will do in one of the next two years, then they're gonna have to open up the checkbook anyway. Might as well pony it up now for the remainer of this contract, but make him lose the rollover.

When has LM suggested that he isn't being paid enough? He's only behind $aban as far as SEC coach salaries go.

He deserves a salary reduction, if anything.

Yeah, let's pay someone MORE for delivering one of the worst offenses in the NCAAA TWO YEARS RUNNING, and arguably the worst defense in the NCCAA the year before that. Losing two games because of time mismanagement, and clusterfricking another, all the while failing to beat lowly Arkansas for 3 of 4 years and having a losing record in the SEC the last 3 years. Now that's smart.

What exactly does everyone think LSU is going to do in the next 2 years?

Les Miles is interested in the UM vacancy if only to use the interest as leverage in contract negotiations. Any good agent will entertain offers because that is contract negotiation 101. Les and his agent want UM to be interested. Public statements at his point are hogwash. He cannot comment now because UM has a coach.

I want to know if the powers at be will call his bluff? We are not playing for a National Championship this year, so we should let him decide without caving in to any demands. If CLM bolts, we should be ok as long as we keep FW & Brick.

No.

Coach Miles will leave LSU only for Michigan and only to "go home."

No negotiation. Let the man make up his mind. We hope you stay, Coach Miles, but, we wish you well, if you don't

PS If you decide to leave LSU, you may leave before the Cotton Bowl, if you wish.
