It's not just you. I can't think of anybody from Acadiana we really wanted that went somewhere else.
The entire southwest part of the state is pretty loyal to LSU, actually.
Even if you expand the area to be Acadiana plus Jeff Davis and Calcasieu, the only two guys that immediately come to mind as misses were Etienne and Janzen Jackson. And Etienne was a really late push by us.
That said, it's not like we need a dedicated recruiter for every part of the state.
