LSU required Les to retain Jimbo.

And Im sure Spurrier would turn down Tenuta.

Even if NU does not bite on the stale "BO" donut, he is still gone if Les head north.

too dam old,

Why does everyone say this? Isn't Les about 54 or so and Spurrier about 62? It's not like the man is 98!

So this occurred before we hired a new Coach

What makes you think we haven't hired a new coach? There's a hell of a lot more stuff going on than anyone here knows. "IF" we've hired Spurrier, then you can bank on it Spurrier wanted Tenuta....bank it.

I think that is a different scenario.

Just pointing out that sometimes the head coach doesn't always get the luxury of picking his entire staff. I mean Jerry Jones hired Jason Garret as OC before a head coach was named...

Maybe but again. You can never tell. A new Coach might want to keep BO.

I wonder if BO would really be intrigues to go with Les to Michigan if that was option

I also think its odd because there is nothing a big nothing in Louisiana media on much of this.

Good point. The La. media has always been known to be cuttin edge and first to break big news.

Big IF. That would alos indicate that the MIchigan deal is done and I dont think that is all clear yet

Spurrier + Tenute would be lights out. Tenuta has a solid D with minimal talent at GT. We all know what SS can do on the offense.

So far the Spurrier to LSU done deal is pretty much the domain of the Coaching Board here. So that means that the SOuth Carolina media is out of the loop too I suppose.

We have a lot of major papers in the Southeast that seem to be asleep if that is happening including tv stations too

Good question because Spurrier has stated the day he gives up playcalling is the day he retires.

Who knows?

All I know about the situation is that I would be elated to get Spurrier and Tenuta.
