Sexton is a sleazy lawyer. He got it to where we have to pay Phil 6 million dollars for sucking.

Sexton also gave Donte Stallworth money so he couldn't come back to UT for his Sr year even after the UT boosters paid him to come back.

Tiger4Ever, have you even met a high

I have. So, keep YOUR ignorance to yourself.
I have.

Pretty much covers it. He is especially slimy. Please do not give me all the shiite about doing his client's will-he is making money for Jimmy, pure and simple. His clients' benefiting is secondary...

Would you hire him as an agent? If not, why not? I wonder why he has so many clients?

I am interning at Sextons agency next summer, I'll tell him your opinion of him.
Maybe you should reconsider if you are to believe half of these folks here are posting. It is not like he is a good agent and doesn't have a list of high profile clients a mile long. Probably wouldn't learn anything good from him either.

Did this high octane agent let you see his mind control device?
Seriously, you guys are clueless. Again, take these coaches off of the pedestal on which you've placed them long enough to realize that the fiduciary responsibility lies with the agent to represent his client and not the other way around.
Some of you asshats seriously believe that Sexton is sending coaches where HE wants against their will, which is quite astonishing. I knew there was a level of ignorance on this message board, but I had no clue it rose to the level within this thread.
Poor coach O, poor Saban, poor Tuberville. If only one of these weak minded men could have stood up to the evil Jimmy Sexton.

I tell you what if I'm offered jobs at two comparable organizations (and yes in a general sense Tenn is comparable to LSU) and one offers me 150k more, I'm taking it. and 9 out of 10 rant posters would do the same.

900K/yr for O is what Tenn is supposedly paying.

That would be pretty stupid IMHO, FYI.

I'm wondering if its being misreported since OM still has to pay O for the next two yrs. I agree, its way too much for a position coach.

frick him too.
However, if i was a coach, there is no other agent i would want either. The guy knows how to do his job!

We might not the byproduct of what Sexton does. But, Sexton is one of the best at his job. You can't blame him for using all of the resources that are available to him to do his job the best he can. He isn't breaking the law. And, so far, he hasn't been accused or caught breaking any NCAA rules.
He's a really good agent and we are on the wrong end of the stick this time. So be it.

That's more than most D1 head coaches - insane for a position coach. What is Tennessee going to do when they are still battling USC and Vanderbilt for #3 in the SEC east years and are paying $10m+ for a coaching staff?

Any of you know Jimmy?
Thought so.
Sour grapes? Absolutely! Besides, good at his job or not, he is of questionable character.

supposedly Auburn told Chizik they wouldn't negotiate with Sexton and Chizik terminated his deal with Sexton.
