now that the tennessee job is open, the coaching dominoes will fall

if im the ads at the schools, this is what i do

tennessee - might as well go lane kiffin. tennessee will NEVER recruit tennessee, just based on lack of talent. they have always been a national recruiter. go with the guy who is a strong recruiter and has west coast ties

washington - not sure about this, go after pinkel. he has worked wonders at mizzou, and he has ties. dont be surprised to hear the s-word float around though

auburn - not open you ask? if im clemson, i throw the bank and tubby. i was so hoping we would have gotten him at lsu last year, really hoping. clemson should throw it all at him. tubby has wanted out for a long time, with petrino, and dealing with lowder. now, he HAS TO SEE the writing on the wall. auburn is in for some lean years. tubbs needs to get out now

clemson, see above (bad order, but i really dont give a shite)

i dont know who auburn would hire, but tis irrelevant bc they are fricked with saban there

feel free to add to the discussion if you would like

just heard clay travis on the radio here in bham. he's been following the ut team all year documeting the season in his new book. he claims that gruden is at the top of the list. suppossedly gruden wants to raise his sons outside of tampa and his wife has been on his arse about returning to east tennessee. realistically this is how i see it panning out though:
ut-brewster
washington-kiffin
auburn-tubbs stays i think
clemson-muschamp or bobby johnson

agreed with clemson going after tuberville...I think he could dominate the ACC with his style of coaching. he would instantly become the top HC in that league if he opted to go.

Isn't he already in to replace Holmgren next year at Seattle? I think it is already a done deal.

Now of course, we know about the radio station call a couple of years ago...

BRIAN KELLY

he is the best coach in the big east, and i dont think he stays very long. if tennessee wanted a coach on the cheap, i go for kelly all day long
