I think this is mostly true, but i feel most fans would be happy with one of the youthful candidates who solves one side of the ball...An Aranda, Rhule, or Kiffin. It seems the old guard of coaches elicit the most negative responses

Why do we need to go beyond these options? Yea some are less realistic but others are realistic. Kelly is arguably a worse choice than all.

Some people say that an LSU fan's greatest dream is to win a national championship and then immediately fire the coach.
I think this board proves that, in reality, those people won't be happy unless a new coach is fired before he's hired.
