Negative. Reid and Loston play two different positions. Loston was behind Hatcher and Reid was behind Taylor. Both played a lot and played well.

yep, craig loston and eric reed is a perfect example

I have never posted crap about correcting people's typos and grammar - but after seeing Eric Reid's named spelled "Reed" at least a dozen times on this site just recently, I think it's ridiculous that a 4-letter name that is right on the backof his uniform every week can't be spelled correctly. And this is not a "typo" because you spelled it wrong in two different posts in this same thread.

He ripped a squeaker and it sounded vaguely like Billy. Therefore he surmised that his arse was trying to tell him that Billy Gonzales was the choice. Take that straight to Songy and let him run with it.

great qb coach and jordan is all s.e.c. next year, right?

i hate to be that guy but.... if jj still didn't seem to have a grasp of crowton's offense after being in the system for 3 years i see him having a very difficult time trying to learn a system in just one off-season... may be time for this new guy mettenberger to step in.

I was going to make the same post but wasn't sure it would be accurate not knowing everything about the OC candidates.

For those that do, does the current OC candidate list indicate that Billy G may get the nod and we hire a QB guy ?

I think he's waiting for the NFL playoffs to end so he can interview a QB's Coach/OC - Mike McCarthy

Sure seemed like Jefferson was much sharper in the Cotton Bowl with BG in his ear every time he came off of the field. It gave JJ someone to talk to and listen to directly. Helps to have a coach talking to the QB face to face. I think JJ may have a sense of calm and confidence we did not often see during the season because he had Billy G. to talk to between series.

there was most definately SOMETHING DIFFERENT in the Cotton Bowl. we approached the qb, play calling, offensive schemes, etc differently. i've heard all kinds of things like billy g. calling the plays, even coach stud calling the plays, etc. i don't know what it was but i sure would like to know. i think it entirely possible that since crowton was a gone pecan, someone else had the reins.
