In CFB, there’s really only a “top2” coaches, then kind of a jumble of 5-6 after that
There is a handful of others than an argument could be made for being #3. Riley is one of those along with Jimbo, Day, Smart, Kelly
The Top2 are clear. After that it’s not so clear-cut.

SW’s Camp has believed Riley was merely angling for a raise for awhile. Maybe he finally convinced him LSU offers him a better chance to win. We shall see.

I wonder if there is merit to the notion that Lincoln is not happy with the boosters at OU, and how things were handled with Spencer Rattler...
If I remember correctly, Jimbo was not completely happy with the administration at FSU, and Scott was able to pounce, and bring him to A&M.
I wonder if Scott receives intelligence on these issues, and is not arbitrarily selecting the guy he likes.
