$1.5 million a year, is from New Jersey, and has a .500 record and the administration seems happy with that. Can't lose.

He didn't get any worse as a coach. he's still winning......at RUTGERS.

Think about that for a second, he has built a consistent winner at RUTGERS

8-3 and 3-3 would get you run out of town at most high profile jobs. He's 54-54 for his career, which would have had Miles fired years ago. Again, $1.5 million and a long term contract at his state school.... Can't lose.

Think about what you are saying. Check out Rutgers' history and get back to me.

He's already turned down Michigan and Miami. Clearly, he's looking at it the same way I look at it.

He's either waiting for a specific job or he didn't think those were the right situations.

He is for Jersey though so pulling him out is probably going to be tougher than for most.

Thought he was supposed to be waiting on Penn St.

Didn't he have ties to Miami? If he turned down that job, I doubt he is going anywhere. The only place I could see him going would be Penn State or a North East college that has the money to pull him away.

ETA: But do you really want to be the guy who follows JoPa?

B/c he knows he can turn it into a power, just keeping the talent in NJ to stay put and not go to PSU or else were alone has elevated the program.

He enjoys coaching at Rutgers and he's loyal.
