Guys, do you know how many coaches are alcoholics? We talk about it as if it's taboo. It's rampant in the coaching world.

True dat. Wasn't it just a year or two ago that there was some dirt going around about Sumlin getting drunk and acting out?

Didn't seem to hurt his career so far (but maybe, for the sake of the Ags, it should have - I'm just sayin....)

The LSU offense? A Ferrari? Try a 1986 Ford Escort with two flat tires.

Dude needs to prove he has his sobriety under control before you go ahead and give him the keys to a Ferrari.

How insulting. And what should you prove before we allow you to post again?

Dude, as HEAD COACH at USC he couldn't make it to practices
quote:

Southern California fired its football coach, Steve Sarkisian, on Monday, one day after Athletic Director Pat Haden announced that Sarkisian would take a leave of absence after he failed to show up for a practice.

quote:

Haden said in a brief news conference that during a phone call with Sarkisian earlier in the day, “it was very clear” that Sarkisian was “not healthy.”

And if Saban doesn't offer him, after bringing him specifically in to replace Kiffin, then we all know the reason

Some people just cant beat it

Right, since I'm sure he'd just show up to work everyday drunk out of his mind.

Calling LSU's offense a Ferrari, while telling someone else to put the drinks down. Classic

He ran up $500 bar tabs at a previous job. The college has the receipts from his expense acct to prove it

Dude just google and take a few moments to read. It goes all the way back to Washington.

In a nutshell, yes. He did show up at practice hammered. Games and other functions including recruiting trips.
