Birmingham sportswriter Keven Scarbinsky is trying his best to put an end to the rumors of Saban returning home to WV. He says it will never happen even though Saban is close friends with both the WV Athletic Director and the Governor of WV..........talks to both of them on a regular basis. I, like KS, just don't believe WV has the kind of $$$$$$$ it would take to attract Daddy Warbucks Saban. But until WV names someone the rumors will continue.

But I do think it's kind of funny that the Bama media is trying to suppress this story as much as they can in the middle of recruiting. Of course the Bama media had no trouble spreading rumors and innuendoes when the Miles to Michigan stories were being circulated.

The media everywhere has to find something to write about in order to sell papers. In Miles' case though, there was something there since he played for Michigan and he had a claus in his contract saying that he could leave for the UM job at any time. Saban didn't play for WVU.

Miles could and still can leave for any job at any time, he has a buy out clause which applies only to Michigan, which is more restricting than Sabans contract because he has no buy out clause for any other school.

You're crazy if you think this is the media feeding this. It happened every year at Michigan State (they warned us), happened every year at LSU, happened each year at Miami and now it's happening at Bama.

Jimmy Sexton does it and obviously it doesn't bother Saban b/c Sexton keeps doing it. Year after year after year, raise after raise after raise.

No way Saban is going to UWV. In one year he has turned Bama from Indy Bowl losers to Indy Bowl winners

Lou Holtz, former Kent State player like Saban, pointed out this evening that he was born in WV like Saban.

Is he going to interview? He called himself a "Mountaineer"!

You're right. I meant to mention agents as well. All agents put their clients names out there but Sexton is the best at doing this. I know there will be rumors every year while Saban is here so we'll (Bama fans) just have to deal with it and hope he doesn't leave.

Honestly, I can only see Saban leaving for one school and that's LSU if an opening was to come up in the near future but I don't see that happening. Miles will be there for a while IMO. Saban loves the competition in the SEC so I don't see him leaving for another conference but I could be wrong.

I think Saban will be at Bama for at least 5 years. If he doesn't win an SECCG by then, he will get canned.

I watched the WVU whipping of the Sooners. I like WVU a lot and have always thought they would be a good add to the SEC. Stewart looks like a natural and a great fit there.
