This is the key. Someone had to have the foresight to see that it was worth tripling the head football coach's salary if you get the right guy in place.

We hired a good guy in Miles, but he lacked the vision that Saban did.
We hired O, he is a 180 from Saban. We are officially finished with all things Saban and have been for a few years. We are really mimicking the Dinardo years well though, so there is that.

Everybody that he showed is at other schools now. Woodward/Jimbo-aTm, Kirby Smart- UGA, Muschamp- USCe, Clemson's current AD was here at that time, Adam Gase was here too.

It's crazy bc most if not all coaches who coached under saban have been successful and we didn't hire any of them

He showed us that you win by controlling the line of scrimmage. Out recruiting your opponents and superior fundamental coaching.
