Tidefans will just go in denial and the mods will just delete, delete, delete.
It actually makes sense that Nick would go. Very easy conference, only have to win 2-3 big games max with no conference championshiop, instead of the 7-8 in the SEC, just to get to Atlanta.

Timing couldnt have been worse.(or should I say better) All recruits that have not etched in stone their commital to bama has got to be rethinking. Saban already has a history of telling his potential recruits less than the truth about playing time and the like, and now this. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You undecided young men shouldnt touch bama with a 10'pole!!!!

Bamascoop, how do you feel about the fact that Saban contacted WVU and not the other way around. It isnt a rumor either, WVU is confirming. Thoughts.

While this is probably just a rumor, this is the predicament that Saban has put himself in. Reputations like the ones Saban and Petrino have are earned from experience. Therefore, you can't just dismiss it out of hand.

I have not seen that it has been confirmed by the University, I may have missed that thread. If it is true, I think he is using it as a tool to get the last few remaining boosters at Alabama that continue to get in his business to back off. I think it is to his advantage to keep Mal Moore and Bryant Jr. thinking that he may leave if they don;t back off. Just my thoughts.
