When UGA beats Bama, Saban will be announced on a Sunday after or Monday. He is the only coach that Scott says LSU fans are going to love. Saban is being hired to rebuild the LSU program. Just wait and see. Come back home Nick.

I hear this continuously about him but if you look at his demeanor right now something is wrong. He showed little to no emotion during the Iron bowl and he had a hell of a lot riding on that game. The SEC championship and the playoffs were tied to the game for him. Listen to him rip the Alabama fans asses for being so spoiled. He said himself that one of his biggest mistakes was leaving LSU and he had unfinished business here. He may never coach here again but something seems off with him lately.

May not like seeing what Ed did to the program he laid the foundation for, wants to come back and right the ship.
I can think of a bunch of reasons not related to money why he might conceivably want to come back.

Just joking with the wife about it (no pics). But a few coincidences. Saban just went on a rant about Bama fans. Saban and Scott are still relatively close, and if it were Saban, due to their relationship, it would have been a simple text message or phone call, hence all the secrecy. And Saban is quoted back in 2019 directly stating his biggest professional regret was leaving LSU.
