I don’t get the love affair with Ryan Day. The guy hasn’t really done anything in his short stint that screams NFL coach. You don’t get to just recruit your players in the nfl and we all saw how bad saban was in the nfl. It’s about talent evaluation and the most memorable thing Day has done since at OSU is let Burrow walk out the door because he thought Haskins is somehow was better. Now who would of thought Butrow would be burrow? But it was Day’s job to do so and he failed. In the nfl you don’t get to just go recruit another qb since you failed the first time. Day shouldn’t even think about the nfl. He’s at a prestigious program and doesn’t have to do much recruiting (Ohio recruits itself at this point) and you can make much more money in college than the nfl.

They have the #1 overall pick plus a few extra high picks from the Jalen Ramsey trade, and they also have damn near $100M in cap space. The right coach/GM combo could turn this around fast.

Your point doesn’t make sense considering OSU had great QB production from 2018-2019. Burrow had an average year in 2018.
