Nobody has mentioned him he's a former tiger. Cajuns led the nation in rushing last year, and we know what he can do with the o line

He’s actually been mentioned several times here.

Read this top post on this board. Go to coaches changes board and see him mentioned a bunch.

I've mentioned him several times on here in the last few weeks. (As Co-OL coach with Mawae. Mawae coaching Tackles/Tight Ends. Sale coaching Guards and Centers)

Rob Sale is an OL coach, not an OC. I don't think he's ever been an OC and LSU is certainly no place for On-the-Job training; too big of a responsibility and too much at stake.

It's consistently mystifying why so many of you on here just don't get it.

I'd love Sale in here, but not as OC!

Mawae- X LSU OL (Needs to happen)
Sale- X LSU OL (Needs to happen)
Faulk- X LSU RB
Raymond- X LSU DB
Davis- (I'm assuming)

What makes Mawae qualified for the OL coach position?

It's not a criteria for the job , but it's definitely a plus to have a relationship with the university you are going to

Sale is more of an offensive line coach than offensive coordinator. Like him a lot but not sure I’d hire him to call plays when that’s not even what he does here.

Would he be good as a OL coach and Assistant Head Coach or Running Game Coordinator?

You would have no idea who Rob Sale is if he didnt play at LSU and you certainly would not be suggesting that we hire him as an OC.

You have ULL fans in here telling you that he's not OC material.

He will be the Cajuns next HC when Napier leaves. He doesn’t call plays, but is heavily involved in the offensive game plan every week.
