When was the last time Riley has missed a similar job related public event for personal matters? Any history of this?
It’s interesting. Headhunters of the world will tell you that even those who are not actively in the job market but are pursued by competitors do eventually need to buy in to the process and give the pursuing party a little show of commitment along the way. Especially when they’re looking for the employer to respond to some counter to an initial offer that they may know is really pushing the limits. Willing to have meetings at times preferred by the pursuer when they may put the candidate in a bit of an uncomfortable spot can definitely be one of those signs.
