And
at the clowns saying Woodward failed. By all accounts he offered the man the most money that has ever been offered and Riley said no. How does that = Woodward failed? Buncha mouthbreathing window lickers. I imagine ole boy didn't want that SEC pressure. He can coast at USC.

I think it's probably more likely that Woodward had Aranda this whole time, and is respecting the coach's wishes to finish out the season at Baylor.
Something like that is what makes the most sense, and LSU never really pursued Riley hard. There were a few people here cautioning against the "Riley is a done deal!" posters, but they all got downvoted and lambasted for not joining in on the premature celebration.
Now you might actually want to listen to those people.
