Because that's not things work when your negotiating buying mansions, expenses for your family, and jet usage.

He can only correctly say he didn't speak with USC until Sunday. He definitely knew there was interest. His agent did the rest.

And if he was coming here none of that would be said. What a bunch of hypocrites.

That's weird since they had their L.A. house picked out two weeks ago.

So, he’s shown us in 36 hours that he has no integrity, doesn’t really want to work too hard, and that’s he’s a liar.

I never was as pumped as some about it. Maybe we dodged a bullet. Would rather have someone who wants to be here then him.

It’s stuff that gets negotiated over weeks, not hours.

Get real if you think multi million dollar negotiations go down that fast

No I'm not, but I do live in the actual real world. Companies spend way more time on who they are going to hire for 50K then what USC supposedly did.

It is not in anyway based on reality that USC would make that decision and negotiate that contract in less then 24 hours.

You must be some kind of dumb and "Don't make sense" to believe it happened from Saturday night to Sunday morning.

Maybe in Louisiana.

USC has an endowment closing in on 6 billion.

LSU Is at 600 million.

Oh look, he went with the LSU is poor take... blah, blah, blah

The freaking endowment doesn't matter. The AD still has a University President and Board of Supervisors to report to. No way all those came together late Saturday night and had monstrous offer ready to roll Sunday morning.

Do you not understand what agents do?

Yeah I doubt he did all that, plus convinced a bunch of his staff to all make this move within 12 hours

Geographically…sure, I get it. There may be a tad more things to do in da Los Angeles than Baton Rouge. (Sarcasm)
Strategically…this is the biggest pu$$y move since Florida State joined the ACC.
And that is a DAMN FACT

Clever edit.

And no.

LA is a fast paced town. Things happen quickly, because it’s known that if you don’t act first you end up losing.

No doubt in my mind if the powers that be at USC called up wanting to do whatever they wanted, purchase a new home, buyout homes in Norman and structure a contract within 12 hours, it would happen.
