Fisher, Herman, Fedora, Gundy, Orgeron, Petrino, Kelly, Morris, Holgerson, McIntyre, Franklin, Mullen, Fleck--would take any of these guys over Miles. We'll get a good coach, we'll pay for top assistants and continue to recruit top talent. So relax and enjoy the A&M game and just know it's all going to work out just fine!

He is probably slightly better than 2015 miles.

"Better than Miles" is not good enough. That's the wrong criterion.

At best he's equal to Miles. At worst, God only knows...

Even though he fell off the cliff towards the end he did bring LSU its best decade of football ever. Going to be hard to replicate what he did.

Huh. Orgeron is 10x better than Miles. Ott said that Orgeron is worth 26 points according to Vegas versus Miles.

Go watch the Auburn or Washington games and see how that works out for you

I should clarify - the Miles post 2012. He lost all momentum despite all the resources the university and fanbase provided. Prior to that, he was above average. Guess there is a shelf life.

His competition adapted and he didn't. Pretty much sums it up.

"better than Miles" is not a bar to set. Bozo the freaking clown is better than Miles. At this point, O is slightly better than Miles, which is why he doesn't belong being head coach.

As an OC - still a POS though.

The crack - stop smoking it.

One won multiple championships and sustained success for a decade. The other has a losing overall record. Don't be dense.

Then going by that metric none of them are better than Miles. Except maybe Fisher.

I can agree he shouldn't be the head coach. But he is, and has proven to be better than Miles on the field.

I am not minimizing Miles. He had a great run here. I'm looking specifically at 2012 and on. His record was not exceptional during that time. If you feel losing to Arky consistently is acceptable, then your expectations are too low
