has NOT been contacted for the Texas job. Nor was he contacted about the USC job.

Also, should the Alabama job somehow become available, word on the street is that Mark Richt is still solid with Georgia and will likely not pursue it.

I was just getting flat out tired of Richt's name (never) being brought up everytime a coaching vacancy appears. Hopefully, this will quell all of the speculation.

So chill people, Mark Richt is not leaving UGA - book it.

Thank God. I would start to get scared if UGA got a better coach.

This is sad. Look, I know what I'm talking about, I am seriously linked in to this.

Richt will NOT take the Southern Miss job. He may, however, use the rumours to leverage an insane raise for him and his staff.

So Southern is simply being used here. Sad, but that's big time college sports for you.

My sources tell me that neither Texas nor USC have contacted Les Miles as well.

The one where the Noles had a ton of suspensions and played a wide receiver at quarterback? That was mighty impressive.

Sorry. Richt lost control over FSU's injuries and suspensions.

Ya play 'em as you find 'em. And after we won the SEC Championship, we found FSU in the Sugar.

And whipped 'em.

It really is. Would look bad for the SEC if a highly respected and successful coach at a football factory of excellence like UGA would leave for a lesser program like Texas or Southern Cal.

Fortunately, that is NOT going to happen. You heard it here and you can trust me on this.

Now Richt to Bama would be more of a lateral move, but word from those in the know within the program say his wife will NOT hear of it as she has put down some deep roots in the community.

So - NOT happenin' folks!
