SFP - I was thinking the same exact thing. You can't let him run another rebuilding offense. Leaves me

don't think that Randy had much time to put together a staff. Between Nix, Harris, and Shannon, that was the absolute worst clock management I've ever seen against Cal.

Me either, he was pretty mediocre at GT. To his credit, he did seem to do some good with Miami's young QBs. And some of that 2 minute struggling needs to be put on Shannon.

The bigger question is why would Walker take the head coaching job at New Mexico State?

When will black coaches realize that going to really crappy college programs does nothing for you at all? He's gonna go there, barely win and then be gone in 3-5 years. After that, he'll most likely never get another head coaching opportunity again.

Why?

exactly. He is better off going to a big name, successful program as a coordinator then getting hired to a big name college i.e. Bo Pelini. (who I know is not black).

I think in Walker's case it is a very poor decision and one that might have been made because he thinks he is getting older for a first time coaching gig and not much time to climb the coaching ladder to a big name school.
