Urban Meyer as Kevin O'Sullivan, the accomplished guy full of baggage that wouldn't make it past the committee
Bob Stoops as Pat Casey, the burnt out retired guy
Mel Tucker as Mike Bianco, the mediocre coach with LSU ties
Billy Napier as Cliff Godwin, the upstart that would fit in with the baws
Lane Kiffin as Tony Vitello, risky young and fun hot shot
Dabo Swinney as Tim Corbin, the safe and uninspired pipe dream
Luke Fickell as Dan McDonnell, the guy making more with less
Mario Cristobal as Jay Johnson, the guy that wins way over there

Couldn't come up with one for Lincoln Riley or Aranda

The baseball hire was underwhelming. But I think Johnson will be a good head coach. This one will be underwhelming as well.

Right. Even if it wasn't the candidate that one may have personally wanted, if you aren't excited by what has gone on since the hire, you have your head in the sand.

Obviously the games are going to paint the real picture, but to this point Johnson has done everything about as well as possible.

Johnson is a good coach but not a big name.

He didn’t say Johnson won’t turn out good, in fact he said he thought he would do well.

But throw Jay Johnson’s name out there the day after Paul announced his retirement and you would have received a very lukewarm response. When Johnson was hired a lot of people weren’t sold. Once he got here, people have fallen in love with him because they like what they have seen so far.

People on here were wanting O’Sullivan, Tim Corbin, Vitello. Johnson wasn’t a big name but I think he will be a fine head coach. Don’t pretend like it was a big name hire.
