Real debate should be Fisher vs Herman, NOT Fisher vs O

the media/Ponamsky alters on here have attempted to "normalize" the idea of keeping O full a time, an option which should be laughed at, by framing the discussion as "Fisher vs O". That way they can feign objectivity while at the same time elevate Coach O by making it seem reasonable to keep him.
The real conversation, especially as it is becoming more and more clear that the Texas job may not be opening after all, should be Fisher vs Herman. O should not even be in the discussion regardless of what happens in the next 2 games.

Yeah it should never be O vs Anyone. It should be Fisher vs Herman vs Fleck vs Taggart vs a shite ton more coaches before we give up and settle on O.

What I've learned through the poll on the home page is that less than half the fan base actually believe/want O to be the coach next season. Makes me feel a little better.

I sadly agree. In my ideal world, we snatch up Herman, keep O as a very well compensated member, and, especially, keep Aranda.

Of course this is true, but certain segments of the LSU football program and booster community are incestuous, back slapping dimwits. They'll probably prevail, we'll probably be relegated to an irrelevancy with a "colorful" coach who's a "good man" and "loves Louisiana."
