I think the Cowboys are catching flack because of the weird reports that came out about Ivy League hanging around the building begging for his job.

Rich Rod has just left for Michigan under questionable circumstances. WVU ends up beating OU in the fiesta bowl.
Ed Pastilong, the AD who had been partying all night somehow starts talking to Pat White, the MVP of the game. White says he thinks Stewart would be a good coach and he's hired within a day or 2.
The way Holgorsen was hired and Stewart was fired 4 years later might even be more of a disaster. Stewart goes to a Pittsburgh journalist asking him to "dig up dirt" on Holgs.
Journalist finds out Holgo has been on multiple benders throughout WV and has been thrown out of several casinos and had run ins with the local cops.
Info is leaked, WVU AD finds out Stewart is behind it so he fires Stew. Bill Stewart dies shortly afterward..
