The only intriguing part is partial ownership which could be a financial windfall as they move out of the Oakland shite hole to Vegas. Otherwise, he has the best broadcasting job in sports and makes a shot ton for what he does with ZERO pressure.

I'm all for it. Bring on Gruden

Tennessee fans still convinced Gruden is coming there next year

Del Rio is a good coach, they will regret that move.
In 12 years as a HC he is 93-94 with 3 playoff appearances. How is that good?

He won a lot of games in Jacksonville with substandard QB play and a terrible GM.
His performance in Oakland in '15 and '16 is what I expected: he got really good results, going 19-13 with a playoff appearance.
The sad fact is, if JDR had kept his OC and got rid of DC before this season, Oakland probably wins 10+ games and he's still the head coach.

Somhe only takes the credit for,the good stuff and none of the blame for the bad stuff? Who decided to keep the OC? How much input did he have into the QB situation in Jacksonville?
Over 12 years the record is what it is. He is more Jeff Fisher than Bill Walsh.

Right... but consider two facts.
1) Del Rio was 68-71 in Jacksonville. In his final year, his starting QB was cut before the first game. He was 65-63 in 9 years in Jacksonville prior to that with 2 playoff appearances.
2) In the five seasons between firing Del Rio and 2017, Jacksonville went 17-63.
Meanwhile, Del Rio took a team that went 4-12, 4-12 and 3-13 before him to 7-9 and then 12-4 in Oakland.
Great? No. But he has done a good job, in general, as an NFL HC. If the Raiders fail to get Gruden, I'm not going to be happy with Mark Davis letting JDR go.
