what? he went 3-13, 10-6, and 4-12 and never finished higher than 3rd in the division. he lost 10 straight games this year, the year they were supposed to take the next step

I love how he said a couple of weeks ago that the reigning coach of the year wouldn't be fired

Oh well back to the Geto Boys.....

after an offseason where everyone spent lots of money on FAs and his front office's only move was to give their kickers a raise.

I'm not saying he's a good coach... that verdict was out.. but he's not entirely responsible for the Bucs' embarrassment.

“I can’t do nothing but be gracious to everybody involved,” Morris told Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune. “I almost pulled it off. I almost did it. I almost got us winning again. At the end, though, I had nothing to stand on. The last 10 games – you can’t do that.”

I wasn't a fan of the hire in the first place, but when you're in a division with the Saints and Falcons and you're rebuilding, you have to pick your guy and stick with him for a little while.

Sorry but after that performance yesterday you don't deserve to keep your job. Losing 10 straight is bad enough but for the 10th loss you were down 42-0 with over 6 1/2 minutes to go in the second quarter. That is beyond embarassing, that just means you have completely loss your team.

When the Jacksonville Jaguars beat them 41-14, I knew that his team had quit on him.

It's not going to matter who you have in there if the organization isn't going to give the coach the tools to succeed (support included).

Still shocked Gruden pulled off what he did with the Glazers at the helm.
