It’s about NIL changes next year and the ability to get players—he gonna get paid anywhere, so it becomes about being able to win.

He really is. The status quo can't remain the status quo and, however it changes, will likely have more of a negative impact on programs overly-reliant on the portal vs one that has a broader scope of resources (such as the in-state talent base).

I do think it’s a few factors but biggest might be last weeks home game for them

They had the largest crowd ever for the Florida game and still less than our Arky game at 11am… which was probably our least filled stadium…

I also think Saban had influence in assuring him that he can win several nattys and do his legacy similar to what Saban did w bama
