I know he's a hell of a recruiter, but what is his defensive philosophy? TIA

Never lose a barroom fight and always aim for the nuts.

Or head butt them Old timers will know what I am talking about.

I don't know if anyone knows for since he has never been a DC. But I think its safe to say its probably close to the style of teams he has coached on. The Miami teams were based off raw speed and attacking from the second they came out of the locker room. The USC teams were similar but maybe not as aggressive, but still a pressure defense.

When your defense plays like a bunch of pussies, rip your shirt off at half time and see which one of them wants to fight. If you can take a beating from BeBe, you can shut down the opposing teams O.
By the way, I have no issue with this if it works. If you have been trained under Coach Moffit for at least a year and your position coach has bigger balls than you, maybe you should be called out

Oh wait, we live in a pussified society now. Nevermind

He's a big rah rah guy. Would make our defense aggressive and hopefully give them the swagger we are used to seeing from our LSU defense

He has no experience coordinating a defense. I think he'd honestly be a better HC than a DC, but if we retain most of the defensive staff, maybe we can run the same scheme as before and have Orgeron there for motivation and recruiting.

I want O coaching up our DL. Not brick. O will get us recruits on the dl instead of finishing second for them all. He could probably get our lineman in a better position to succeed. There is talent to work with.

In title only. Old Man Kiffin ran USC's defense both years and called all the plays.

Don't believe he's ever been a DC, so not much need for a "philosophy"
