Of course he would be. However he was fired for cause I highly doubt he’ll be allowed to be hired for another on field position in the SEC but who knows.

NO! LSU cannot hire a coach that is under investigation. Even if the SEC would allow it (which they won't), it would not be wise...no matter how good of a defensive coach he is.

It turns out that his coaches literally handed bags of cash to recruits. He isn't coaching anywhere for a long time!
