In the unlikely event he heads to Michigan.
My (somewhat) realistic list:
1. Jim Mora Jr.
2. Dan Mullen
3. Gary Patterson (may be pipe dream)
4. David Shaw
What say you?

There are numerous threads about this topic.

That and I suspect the odds are better that I will be named the UM HC before Les.

Only coach on this list worth talking to would be Jim Mora Jr.
Will be tough to pull him out of the West Coast/ Also if I am a coach and see how the LSU fans treat a coach that has won more than any other coach in LSU history and is continuing to win, I think twice about coming to this program.

1. No thanks
2. No thanks
3. Would like, but has same agent as Miles. Miles ending would need to be clean for that to happen.
4. Decent, but I doubt he leaves Stanford for a job that's not on the West Coast.

I think Mora would a solid hire. He was a decent NFL coach. He is relatively young. He has Louisiana ties. He has turned a grease fire at UCLA into a respectable program quickly.

Well, fortunately, the bulk of these guys don't have your delicate sensibilities. $4-5 million per year tends to soothe a lot of hurt feelings.

LSU, due to being the only game in town and due to the recruiting prowess of the state, is a very good job.
Cowherd was mentioning it as one of the only jobs that any coach would take a hard look at if offered.

I think James Franklin would consider coming back to the SEC for the right price. I think he has proven that he is a winner, and he certainly recruited well above Vandy's previous levels. Add him to the list.

I think most coaches probably think to themselves how great they would be with all of our NFL talent

Tressel all the way. Only guy who can recruit with Saban but will out plan him as well. The guy was nails at OSU.
