Maybe he can finally beat a top 25 team. It’s been a while.

If we don’t get Kiffin I’d prefer Golesh. I’d be ok with Dillingham also. Drink would be further down my list.

Drink is a great backup plan.

If he’s number 4 or 5 down the list.

According to Rock M Nation, in his first 5 seasons at Mizzou, his record in top-25 matchups was 7–14. He’s 0-6 over the last 2 years.

Drink has proven to be a great eye for talent - players & coaches.

He's done a fantastic job at Missouri. Deserves credit!

I don’t understand the fascination with Golesh at all. He’s done a TERRIBLE job this season. He has a huge talent advantage in all but two games and blew the Memphis game all by himself with just abysmal game management. Then dropped another to blow a shot at the playoff. He’s nowhere close to ready.

I like Dillingham and he would be the clear second choice for most. I would like Key if he would keep Baker, because his current DC and defense will likely cost him a playoff shot this season.

I would take Schumann over Golesh or even Sumrall in a heartbeat. He hasn’t been a head coach, but neither had Dan Lanning. But he’s been trained at Bama and UGA by Saban and Kirby. He’s been groomed to step into an SEC program for years. Those two haven’t had nearly as much experience in programs of this size.
