Yeah this team has some holes even if we plug some with freshman and transfers that's usually not a championship program. We need to get better on OL and better QB play.

9-3 should be your floor every year.

do you think that anything less than that gets him fired after his first season? Because the question is what is "acceptable" for next year. With his history of success and being his first season here he should have a little leeway in season 1 to get things going.

Year one I’m far less concerned with record and care more about what the actual product on the field looks like.

One of Max's biggest problems is throwing off his back foot. He needs to step into his throws and get the ball down.

We left three wins on the table including Auburn. 9 wins should be the floor imo.

Acceptable doesn’t mean good enough to not get fired. It means, “do I accept that as a decent outcome?” We have enough good young players that I don’t accept fewer than 9 wins as a decent outcome. That’s an unhappy outcome any time it’s happened after 2000. 9 wins including a bowl is acceptable also.
