I know him personally. We texted a good bit before and after he started this thread. When Kelly was hired I told him he was right.
He had the nickname Da Prophet long before tigerdroppings for his predictions. No inside sources. He is just known to have some home run predictions.
He is wrong sometimes but when he hits a home run prediction it is usually one no one saw coming.
