I just love how people think Muschamp (former DC, emotional, no bullshite kind of coach) is a great hire. But Pelini (former DC, emotional, no bullshite kind of coach), who has head coaching experience and made Nebraska relevant with a lot less talent than LSU has, would be a terrible hire.

I'd be okay with it but definitely not my 1st choice.I personally think if not 1 of the biggies(Saban,Patterson,Stoops, etc) we should hire malzhan. He's going to be a great HC someday. He has the it factor.

I don't know what is wrong with some of you people. Pelini would be a solid hire. He wouldn't be my number one choice but he would be a top 5 choice. Look at his recruiting at sucky Nebraska. If he can do that there he would be able to hold serve in Louisiana. All he has to do is keep Frank and we would be fine on that aspect. His defenses were among the best we ever had at LSU and would do well against our rivals as shown previously. Too many of you confuse Bo's coaching personality with his actual personality. He is actually a very likably guy. A hell of a lot more than Saban was.

I'd be happy it wasn't someone worse but he wouldn't be my first choice. Or my second, third, or fourth. He will be ok enough to put up with until we can get someone else. We could break our contract with him and use his anger antics as the reason lol

Wouldn't be the sexy hire. I would say probably my 3rd or 4th choice.

Well, I could get behind Bo

After watching his game antics today on youtube, he is passionate and can become an angry jerk.

I remember Les talking about coaches that lose their cool during a game.. He said "when you get like that, you aren't thinking about the game and the next play etc"...it was a good point

Bo lost it in the A $M game, that was a meltdown

My biggest concern is recruiting... Recruiting is very competitive, we are naive to think LSU just recruits itself...It does to a point...but it's still a lot of hard work
