There isn’t a plane, or two planes, leaving BR at 11:30 at this time. That timeline is wrong. You can come back and apologize for your comment.

It’s hard to fly at that altitude when you’re taking off and landing.

Sure, planes CAN fly through this stuff, but if you have the option to fly around it, or just wait 90 minutes to avoid it, that is the best, smartest, safest option

they have to take off first. Flights are delayed all the time, waiting for severe weather fronts to pass.

Hmmmm…well would you look at that. Turns out both planes were still in the MMR hangar in BR. Just after the front passes they pull out and are on their way.
