A sad day for Ole Miss. Longo has been dubbed the "new Saban" by most people familiar with him. Mack has maybe 4 decent years left as a coach - clearly UNC is thinking big picture by hiring Longo as OC. He'll probably be the coach in waiting and take UNC into stellar regions once he's HC.

He's getting up there..I don't mind him much, but if I'm not mistaken he didn't recruit when he was at OM before. There was a waiver to allow an off the field guy recruit for him due to family obligations since his wife passed. Think his child MAY (could be wrong here) have Autism. This is what I remember, but could be wayyyy wrong.

A good trade IMO. He did well as USM and Oklahoma State. Just jumped to the wrong job while he was a hot name. IDK if he wants to get back in as a HC or go the OC Route first but if I’m Ross Bjork it’s worth the phone call.

Werner would be getting a promotion. Fedora probably wouldn't because of UNC money but either one of those two could have eyes on taking over if Luke gets axed midseason. The defense is more likely to be the pressing issue.

That offense was kind of a bully. Lots of points against Texas Tech, ULM, and SIU but once defenses with a pulse showed up it was a very different story.
