I believe he thought one of LSU/USC/Florida/Notre Dame/OU would be his gig. That's the level he's been waiting for.
I't didn't happen so he evaluated his strengths/weaknesses and came up with a plan to get one of those jobs in the future. And that is why you'd want your kid to play for this guy...
No bitching and moaning when--even though he's given his best---things didn't go his way. He kept the goal clear and is going full speed ahead with his adjusted plan to get there.
He's a HC now and when he proves himself at a program that is not known for football, the big boys will come calling.
Good for you, Coach.

EDIT: And yeah, I still want the Ags shite pushed in.
