I really hope that this is true. But, that link is from 2 days ago. I have not seen this info anywhere else.

Well, it is New Mexico. Maybe Mallory will do better under less pressure and not having to fight BDP on communication.

I was thinking the same thing. Hell, they may BOTH be successful if they are flying solo as coordinators at lower tier schools. But the experiment here with them sharing the duties did not work, and I think that they were both over their heads as Div I coordinators.

I wish him luck if he is leaving. He has real potential as a coach. He just needs a little organization. He will be fine. So will we.

I watched LSU a lot this year being out here in Arkansas. I blame the demise of the defense on the head coach Les Miles. These 2 co-coordinators were in limbo all year and with Miles making some of the decisions that he made it was like they had no real identity. It is unusual, to say the least, to have an SEC coordinator move to the MWC in virtually the same position but with the cluster that Miles has created, now is a good time to get out. I am guessing that Miles will be fired at the end of next year....

or he knew he would be fired....and wasn't going to get a better job offer than New Mexico

Now that this has been reported on WAFB by one of our own, I think it is safe to say he is gone. I believe everything I hear on TV....
